Fishing from Curley's, a walk from room to water
Sekiu gained recognition as a premier destination for big Chinook salmon, and resorts grew up along Front Street to match. Today the motel on Front Street keeps a dock, moorage and cleaning stations for guests who bring their own boat, and sends anyone looking for a charter to a local guide.
- 01
Private dock access
The dock is at the property, below the rooms on Front Street.
- 02
Boat moorage
Overnight lodging guests get priority; other requests are taken case by case.
- 03
Cleaning stations
Clean your catch at the water, then carry it up to your room.
- 04
Room to water
Walk from your door to your boat.

Where the boat ties up

We offer moorage and we give overnight lodging guests priority, so the way to a slip is a room. Other requests are taken case by case. Call the office at (360) 963-2281 before you trailer up, and tell us the boat and the nights.
Private dock access and cleaning stations sit between your door and the water, which is the whole point of a fishing motel. If the rooms are the other half of your plan, the rooms with kitchenettes and the full-kitchen two and three bedroom units are set up for cooking what you bring in. The moorage page has the dock details in one place.
The office and shop sells bait and tackle, and in peak season it is open daily with espresso, breakfast burritos and sack lunches for fishermen. Dinner is a couple of doors down at By the Bay Cafe, the only restaurant in Sekiu.
Staying longer in the off-season, or timing a trip around the offers? Summer stays of three nights or more save 15%. Bringing the dog along? See the pet notes.

Want a charter instead?
We do not, but are happy to refer you to a local operator. Curley's does not run charters. The guide we send people to is a separate business, Get Hooked NW Guide Service, which runs full and half day trips out of Sekiu and Neah Bay.
You book the room and the moorage with us, and you book the trip with the guide.
Pick your dates, then ask the office about a slip.
