Boat moorage
Private dock access and cleaning stations, with priority for guests who sleep here.
A slip below the room you booked
Yes, we offer moorage. We prioritize moorage for our overnight lodging guests, but may take case-by-case reservations. That is the whole policy, and it is why the dock works for people fishing out of Sekiu: the person who sleeps at Curley's on Front Street is the person who gets the first call on a space.
It suits a guest who tows a boat up to the Strait for a few days, keeps it at the dock overnight, and walks from room to water before the sun is over the headland. There is private dock access, and there are cleaning stations for when the day's catch comes in.
If you are not staying with us but have a boat that needs a berth, ask. We take those requests one at a time, and the answer depends on who is booked.

How a fishing day runs around the dock
Mornings start early in Sekiu. You step out of the room, load the boat at our dock, and you are on the Strait of Juan de Fuca without a drive to a ramp first. When you come back in, the cleaning stations are right there, so fish are handled before anyone carries them anywhere else.
The office and shop sits close by for bait, tackle and a sack lunch, and espresso if you are up before the light. See what the counter carries on the Office & Shop page. If you would rather go out with a guide than run your own boat, Curley's does not run charters, but we refer guests to Get Hooked NW Guide Service, a separate local operator; read about them on the Get Hooked page.
For what bites when, the Fishing page lists the Marine Area 4 and 5 seasons as published. Those dates change from year to year, so check current WDFW rules before you plan a trip around them.
Booking a room and a space together
Book the room first, and tell us about the boat when you do. The reservation page shows live rates and availability, and our direct offers, such as Sekiu Summer Stays, are listed on the Offers page. Call the office at (360) 963-2281 if the moorage question is the reason you are looking at Sekiu at all.
Bringing a dog along on a fishing trip is common here, and friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. A pet fee applies, so confirm it when you book. The Pets page has the house rules.
