Rooms with Kitchenettes

Second floor, sink and electric burners, view rooms on the water side.

Second floor, sink and burners

The kitchenette rooms sit on the second floor of the motel building on Front Street in Sekiu, the storey the Couvelier family added in 1958. Each one has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink and electric burners, and comes as a single queen or a double twin.

They are great for couples or solo travelers. One guest wrote that the kitchen had everything needed to cook a delicious meal, and another that the view was breathtaking.

Cooking what you caught

Burners and a sink change how a fishing trip runs. You can bring the catch up from the cleaning stations at the dock, cook it that night, and keep the leftovers cold in your own fridge instead of eating out every meal.

Wifi, a TV with Roku, linens, towels and battery-operated lanterns for power outages come with every room. The office and shop sell espresso, breakfast burritos and sack lunches in peak season, and By the Bay Cafe is a couple of doors down when you would rather not cook.

Guests with a boat get priority on moorage when they stay overnight with us, so the room, the dock and the stove stay within a short walk of each other.

Choosing a bed and booking the room

Pick a single queen or a double twin on the reservation page, where live rates and open dates show; we do not post a nightly price here. Booking direct saves money, and three nights or more in summer takes 15% off.

Friendly dogs are welcome with a pet fee that you should confirm at booking. Call the office at (360) 963-2281 if you want a view room or have a longer off-season stay in mind.
