Why stay on the north coast?

Curley's is your Olympic National Park basecamp. From Front Street in Sekiu you can reach Cape Flattery, Neah Bay, Ozette and Lake Crescent without the lines that build up at the park's better-known doors.

The north coast is the quiet side of the peninsula. It is three hours from Seattle, it sits at the Olympic National Park northwest coastal access points, and it comes with fish in the Strait below the motel. Shi Shi Beach and the other untouched coastal trails are the reason people make the drive.

Fewer crowds

A slower pace and a quieter atmosphere come standard. Evenings here are the dusk over the Strait and not much else.

Fishing at the door

The north coast gives you direct access to world-class salmon, halibut and bottomfish fishing. Overnight guests get priority on boat moorage, there is private dock access, and the cleaning stations are a walk from your room. Season dates change every year, so check current WDFW rules before a trip. The full picture is on the fishing page, and the dock is part of the rooms and dock.
